5i/3-i

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5i/3-i
---------
Multiply numerator and denominator by 3+i to get:
[5i(3+i)] / [(3-i)(3+i)]
= (-5+15i) / (10)
= [5(-1+3i)]/10
= (-1+3i)/2
= (-1/2) + (3/2)i
