Question 1115553: what is the simplified form of the following expression? assume a and c are both greater than or equal to 0

options are:
a) 7ac(4th root (ab^2))
b) 7(4th root(ab^2))
c) -7(4th root(ab^2))
d) -7ac(4th root(ab^2))
I tried to simplify it but got 14c\sqrt[4]{a^5b^2}-7ac\sqrt[4]{ab^2} which is not an option, what am I doing wrong and what is the real answer?

In the first term, you simplified to just .

In that term you can also simplify to

Then both terms will have the 4th root of the same expression, so they can be combined to give you one of the given answer choices.
