Question 1093763: I've been working on this for awhile. It seems like I'm close, but I'm missing something.
The equation to solve is:
Square root of:
(square root of 2 - (-square root of 8))^2
plus
(square root of 3 - (-square root of 12))^2
The equation is to solve for the distance of a line plotted at:
(square root of 2, square root of 3), (negative square root of 8, negative square root of 12)
I thought I got close getting to negative square root of 2 plus 3xsquare root of 3.
The answer key shows the answer as 3xsquare root of 5. I'm lost. Thank you in advance for your help
