Yes FOIL Method (First Outer Inner Last)
(8√[6] + 3√[2])(4√[6] + (-5√[2])) Original Equation
First (8√[6]*4√[6])=32√[36]
First (8√[6]*4√[6])=32*6
First (8√[6]*4√[6])=192
Outer (8√[6]*-5√[2])=-40√[12]
Outer (8√[6]*-5√[2])=-80√[3]
Inner (3√[2]*4√[6])=12√[12]
Inner (3√[2]*4√[6])=24√[3]
Last (3√[2]*-5√[2])=-15√[4]
Last (3√[2]*-5√[2])=-15*2
Last (3√[2]*-5√[2])=-30
(8√[6]+3√[2])(4√[6]+(-5√[2]))=192+(-80√[3])+24√[3]+(-30) Combine all of the terms
(8√[6]+3√[2])(4√[6]+(-5√[2]))=162-56√[3] Final answer.

The technique:
stands for first terms,
stands for outer terms,
stands for inner terms, and
stands for last terms.
is the product of the first terms:
is the product of the outer terms:
is the product of the inner two terms:
is the product of the last two terms:
then we have:
