Question 1075653: I need help finding the solution set of this problem: (the x2 is suppose to be x squared)
(3-x)/(x2-9)=-3
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
factor the denominator, factor out -1 in the numerator
Cancel (x-3)
multiply both sides by (x+3),get rid of the denominator
-1 = -3(x+3)
-1 = -3x - 9
3x = -9 + 1
3x = -8
x = a unique solution
