Let's divide both sides by five
Sqrt(x+2) = 12/5
Lets raise both sides to the power two. We are doing this to get ride of square toot
x+ 2 = 144/25
We solve for x
x + 2 - 2 = 144/25
x = 144/25 - 50/25
x= 94/25
