is the equation of a parabola.
since the parabola pass through the (7,1),
then substitute the point in the equation above.
a=4/5
Also the standard equation of a parabola is given by
where (h,k) is the coordinate of it's vertice.
If a=4/5
(h,k)=(2,5)
substitute the above in the standard equation and get
