Using graphing technology graph x^4-7x^3+12x^2+4x-12. Identify for which values of x the graph is increasing.

f'(x) = 4x^3 -21x^2 + 24x + 4
Solve:: 4x^3-21x^2 + 24x+4 > 0

Ans: increasing from x = 0.1472 to x = 2 and also when x > 3.5
