The equation of ellipse having foci at (0,+-6) = (0,+-c) and vertices at (0,+-8) = (0,+-a) is x^2/b^2 + y^2/a^2 = 1, a > b
Also a=8,c=6 and b=√28 because c^2 = a^2 - b^2
Graph:
Foci is along y-axis because foci is at (0,+-6) which means that major axis is x=0
Let A be (0,-8) and A' be (0,8)
Let B be (-√28,0) and B' be (√28,0)
Let F be (0,-6) and F' be (0,6)

center: (0,0)
a=8 (distance from center to vertices)
a^2=64
c=6 (distance from center to foci)
c^2=36
c^2=a^2-b^2
b^2=a^2-c^2=64-36=28
