You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I am graphing parabolas and I have a quick question...
How would I graph x=(1/24)(y^2)?
I know that the vertex is (0,0), the focus is (6,0) and the directrix is x=-6
---------------
That is really all you need to know.
Plot the vertex and focus point. Draw the directrix.
The parabola opens to the right
If you want more points give a value for y and find x:
If y=+/-1, x=1/24
If y=+/-10 x is approximately 4
etc.
Cheers,
