Question 75525: Please help me!!! I am working on circles. And I am a little lost. The directions are use the info to write an equation of a circle.
1. area 25*(pi), center (5, -3)
2. center (-2, 7.5), circumference 3*(pi)
3. center (2, 1), thru (6,4)
I do not know how to find the radii to finish each eqation.
Thank you so much for the help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the first circle has a area of 25pi...since area=pi%2Ar%5E2...r%5E2=25... and r=5

the second circle has a circumference of 3pi...since circumference=2pi%2Ar...r=3/2...or r=1.5

the radius of the third circle is the distance from the center (2,1) to a point on the circumference (6,4)...the expression for this distance is sqrt%28%286-2%29%5E2%2B%284-1%29%5E2%29...which evaluates to sqrt%2825%29... so r=5

equation 1...%28x-5%29%5E2%2B%28y%2B3%29%5E2=25

equation 2...%28x%2B2%29%5E2%2B%28y-7.5%29%5E2=2.25

equation 3...%28x-2%29%5E2%2B%28y-1%29%5E2=25
