where(h,k) is the vertex and x = h is the Line of Symmetry
The standard form is , where the focus is (h,k + p)
and length of the latus rectum
directrix of y= -3.25 and focus (0,-2.75),
y-value of Midpoint between directrix and focus is -6/2 = -3 , p = .25 and 4p = 1 V(0,-3)
