Question 619273: (x-2)^(2)/25 + (y+1)^(2)/16 =1
This will graph a(n) ____________ with a center at ___________________. The verticies will be ________ units from the center, the co-verticies will be _______ units from the center and the foci will be ______ units from the center. The orientation will be _________________.
*This one I think is an elipse with a center at (2,-1) but again, I have no idea what to do....*
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x-2)^(2)/25 + (y+1)^(2)/16 =1
This will graph a(n) ellipse_ with a center at (2,-1)__________.
The verticies will be sqrt(25) = 5 units from the center, the co-verticies will be sqrt(16)= 4 units from the center
and the foci will be c =sqrt(25-16)= 3 units from the center.
The orientation will be wider than high.
