I tryed it out by completing the square this is what I done:

grouped the y terms together
divided 2 by -2 and squared it, moved x+3 to the right and added 1 to both sides.
that's the last part I got. Am I on the right track? I think it's supposed to be a parabola.
Please show your steps on how to get the answer.
