(y+2)^2=4(1)(x-1)
To 'sketch' the graph, the relationship between x and y described tells us:
I. Parabola opening to the right
II. Vertex is (1,-2)
III. Focal Point is ((1+1),-2)or (2,-2)and focal chord width = 4 || & p = 1
IV. Directrix is x = 0 and Line of symmetry is y = -2
