Question 444197: Write the slope-intercept equation for the line that passes through (-4, -8) and (-3, -2). Please show all of your work.
Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x1 y1 x2 y2
-4 -8 -3 -2
slope m =(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) 6
m= 6
Plug value of the slope and point (-4 ,-8) in
Y=mx+b
-8.00 =-24+b
b=-8-24
b= 16
So the equation will be
Y =6x+16
