What is the equation of a parabola with vertex (0,0) and focus (0,4)? and then draw it graph.
Plot the points.
Do you see that the parabola is opening upward?
Since it is opening upward the form of the
equation is 4py=x^2 where p is the distance from
the vertex to the focus = 4
So, 4(4)y=x^2
y=(1/16)x^2
