The slope between these points is
m = (6-2) / (6-2) = 1
The perpendicular line has a slope of -1 and goes thru the midpoint (4,4), so we use the point-slope form and get
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - 4 = -(x - 4)
y = -x + 8
