Question 39160: I am having difficulty with another graphing problem I hope you can help me
(x+2)^2/25-(y+5)^2/16=1

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x+2)^2/25-(y+5)^2/16=1
You have to recognize the conic form as a hyperbola.
The graph opens to the right and to the left.
It is centered at (-2,-5); the vertices are at
(-7,-5) and (3,-5).
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Stan H.
