Question 301031: What is the radius of the circle given by the equation below?
x2 - 14x + y2 - 10y = -38

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2-14x+y^2-10y=-38 Completeing the squares we get:
(x^2-14x+49)+(y^2-10y+25)=-36+49+25
(x-7)^2+(y-5)^2=38
r^2=38
r=sqrt38
r=6.16 is the radius.
