Question 1393: how do we do to solve 2q^2+14q=2q-q^2-9 ? i get stuck when trying to factor i am LOST please help
Answer by usyim88hk(158)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2q^2+14q = 2q-q^2-9
First we should put all the numbers on one side
2q^2+q^2-2q+14q+9 = 0
3q^2+12q+9 = 0
Now we can use the quadratic formula

x = -6/6 or -18/6
x = -1 or -3
