Question 1181067: If the region bounded by curves y¹ = x and y² = x² in the first quadrant of the xy-plan is rotated about y-axis. Find the volume of resulting solid of the revolution? Answer by Edwin McCravy(20059) (Show Source):
I don't think you meant to use superscripts for the two y's because you
can't tell the difference between superscripts to indicate which function
from superscripts to indicate exponents.
If the region bounded by curves ytop = x and ybottom = x² in the first quadrant of
the xy-plan is rotated about y-axis. Find the volume of resulting solid of
the revolution?
