Question 1061929: Can you please help me with graphing p=(5+0.5n)*(1200-100n)?
Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(n)=(5+0.5n)*(1200-100n)
f(n)=6000+100n-50n^2
vertex is at -b/2a=-100/-100=1
when n=1, p=6050
when n=0, p=6000
the function is symmetrical around n=1, so when n=2, p=6000
That's enough to graph, but one can use (3,5850), and therefore by symmetry, (-1,5850)

different scale.
Can graph without foiling by putting in points for n, like 0,1 and -1,2 and -2.
