here is the problem. I am solving for 2B.
Using the correct formula, calculate the following: A man has a 90-foot ladder and leans the end of it against an exterior window of a house. The base of the ladder is 45 feet from the house. Calculate to the nearest foot how high it is from window to the ground.

2B)
b. Create your own data for the height of the window from the ground and distance of the base of ladder to the house. Calculate the length of the ladder.

2A) 45^2 + B^2 = 90^2
B^2 = 90^2 - 45^2 = 6075
B = 77.94 feet
B is height of window above the ground
2B) now for our own data
30^2 + 10^2 = C^2
C^2 = 1000
C = 31.62
the length of the ladder is 31.62 feet
