Vertical side^2 + Base side^2 = Hypotenuse^2
Hypotenuse^2 - Vertical side^2 = Base side^2
7^2 - 4^2 = Base side^2
49 - 16 = Base side^2
Base side^2 = 33
Base side =
Base side = 5.8 centimetres.
