Two Perpendicular diameters are drawn in a circle into four equal quadrants. A circle is drawn in one of the quadrants so that it touches both diameters and also the 1m radius circle. What is the radius of the new circle?
Could you explain how to work it out as well? I am only 12 and was given this problem for an extension class.
