Question 488553: use the pythagorean theorem to find the distance between each pair of points.
C(-10, 12), D (-7, 6)

You would plot these rwo points, as well as plot a third point (-10, 6), named E. to form a right triangle.
(CE)^2 + (DE)^2 = (CD)^2
(6)^2 + (-3)^2 = (CD)^2
36 + 9 = (CD)^2
45 = (CD)^2
= CD
3 = CD
