for the sake of this question a=8 b=5 and supossedly c=9.43


To check your answer rewrite the formula:
a%5E2%2Bb%5E2=c%5E2
then the equation:
8%5E2%2B5%5E2=9.43%5E2
Now Square all the numbers: 8%5E2=64b%5E2=25c%5E2=88.9249
(when you square 9.43 you get 88.9249round it off to 89)
Now the equation is:
64+25=89
89=89
