Well in order to do this problem you must know the Formula. which is
Now we can plug in the numbers:

Now Square a & b:

You are now left with:

Add the numbers and you are left with:

now you must get the square root of 89

(remember to round your number to the nearest tenth or hundredth's place in other words keep it to 1 0r 2 digits after the decimal)
So, c=9.43


To check your answer rewrite the equation:

Now Square all the numbers:
64+25=88.9249
(round 88.9249 to 89)
89=89
