A soccer field is a specified length and width, I don't know the dimensions.
Measure and mark the width at one end.
Measure the length from one of the width markers using a tape measure.
To make sure it's square, ie, that the corners are right angles, use a 2nd tape measure from the other end of the width markers that's the length of the diagonal. The intersection of the 2 tapes is the 3rd corner.
