Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a^2+b^2=c^2
a=x
b=x+2
c=9
x^2+(x+2)^2=9^2
x^2+x^2+4x+4=81
x=5.2849
x+2=2+5.2849
