1^2 + 1^2 = 1^2
it would not work out because 1 squared is 1,
and 1 plus one equals 2.
2 doesn't equal one.

the only way 1 could be close C would be to find the square root of .5 because .5+.5 = 1
right?
well the square root of .5 is .7071067812
if you were to round to .71
you'd get
.5041 + .5041 = 1.0082

Pythagorean Theorum is used with right triangles.
1 over and 1 up, the distance from point to point will be more than 1.
1 sq + 1 sq =2, it's the sq rt of 2, which is 1.4142
