One-half of the 12 cm diagonal and one-half of the 16 form the long leg and the short leg o a triangle. And we have four equal triangles.
Pythagoras:
sqrt(6^2+8^2) = hypotenuse = side of rhombus
sqrt(36+64) = 10 is the length of each side of the rhombus
