Divide by 3.2
n = 0.5

In your written proof, you must indicate the property used in relation to how the given equation was solved. In this case, it is the Division Property of Equality which states "if you divide both sides of an equation by the same nonzero number (3.2), the sides remain equal".

Proof: Given that 1.6 = 3.2n, we will use the division property of equality to show if a = b then a/c = b/c such that 1.6 = 3.2n and 1.6/3.2 = 3.2n/3.2. Therefore, n = 0.5. (as shown in the previous answer)
