Hi dear,
Let x=larger integer,
y=smaller integer.
from your question,
x-y=12---(1)
x+y=4y--(2)
from equ 1,
x=y+12---(3)
put 3 in 2
y+12+y=4y
2y+12=4y
4y-2y=12
2y=12
y=6
Put y=6 in 3
x=6+12
x=18
The larger number is 18,
The smaller number is 6
HOPE THIS HELPS?
