X-Y=4, 3x-2y=4x-1
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x-y=4, true, but y must be smaller.
3y-2x=4y+1
first equation x=y+4
substitute
3y-2(y+4)=4y+1
3y-2y-8=4y+1
y-8=4y+1
-3y=9
y=-3
x- (-3)=4
x+3=4
x=1
y=-3
3(-3)-2(1)=-11, which is 1 more than 4(-3), and -11 is 1 more than -12
