My Work: I have tried to piece together and this is what ive come up with but, with no success.
x(x+7)=91
x^2+7x-91=0
Than i went to find the 2 numbers
x≈6.66,−13.66
Where do i go from here?

Hi there,
Two numbers x, x + 7
Difference between squares
(x + 7)^2 - x^2 = 91
Multiply out
x^2 + 14x + 49 - x^2 = 91
Collect like terms
x^2 - x^2 + 14x = 91 - 49
14x = 42
x = 3
So numbers are 3 and 10
Hope this helps :-)
