 Hi there,
18 is added to the sum of three consecutive integers
18 + n + (n + 1) + (n + 2) = 168
Remove brackets
18 + n + n + 1 + n + 2 = 168
Collect like terms
3n + 21 = 168
3n = 168 - 21
3n = 147
n = 49
Three consecutive numbers are:-
49, 50, 51
