Proportion problem. Think what the answer should be: smaller, because the screen is small. A lot smaller, as a matter of fact
16 feet truck/36 feet screen=
x feet truck/2 foot screen
16*2 feet truck-screen=x*36 feet truck-screen.
Divide both sides by 36.
(32/36)= x, which is in FEET
(32/36) feet * 12 inches/1 foot = 384/36 inches=10 2/3 inches
The screen is 1/18 the size of the original (2/36)
The truck must be 1/18 the size of the original (16/18), which is (32/36)
Be sure the answer is in INCHES, not feet, since that is what was asked.
