The Result Is Equal To 4 Times The Sum Of 8 And Twice The Unknown Number. 

Find The Number. 

Question states***

 8x - 2(x+5)= 4(8 + 2x)   |Solve for x

  6x - 10 = 32 + 8x

      -42 = 2x

       x = -21, the number
