let x be the first even integer, then x, x+2, x+4, x+6 represent our four consecutive even integers, we are given
4 * (x+6) = x +(x+2) +(x+4) + 36
4x +24 = 3x +42
x = 18, therefore our four consecutive even integers are
18, 20, 22, 24
check our answer
4 * (18+6) = 18 +(18+2) +(18+4) +36
96 = 18 +20 +22 +36
96 = 96
our answer checks
