Question 792305: If the sum of four consecutive even integers is decreased by 30, the result is the fourth integer. What are the four integers?
Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
consecutive even integers: x, (x+2), (x+4), (x+6)
x + (x+2) + (x+4) + (x+6) - 30 = x + 6
4x + 12 - 30 = x + 6
4x - 18 = x + 6
3x = 24
x = 8
integers: 8, 10, 12, 14
