Question 742729: i need help solving this problem
the manufacturer of a CD player has found that the revenue function for selling p CD player is R(p)=-4p^2+1400p.Find the maximum revenue to the nearest whole dollar?

Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
R(p) = -4p^2 + 1400p

maximum at -b/2a = -1400/(-8) = 175 CD players sold

max revenue = -4(175)^2 + 1400(175) = $122,500
