Question 662575: how do you figure out the question....
a rectangle has a perimeter of 62cm. the lengths in centimeters of its adjacent sides are consecutive integers??
Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
p = 62 = 2(l+w)
l = x
w = x+1
2(x+(x+1))=62
2(2x+1)=62
4x+2=62
4x=60
x=15
length = 15cm
width = 16cm
