Consecutive numbers can be written as n, n+1 and n+2.....with n+2 being the largest
(n+2) + 5n = -244
6n + 2 = -244
6n +2 - 2 = -244 - 2
6n = -246
6n/6 = -246/6
n = -41
n+1 = -40
n+2 = -39
