It is never true
An odd number is always:
even + 1
So 2 odd numbers are:
even + 1 + even + 1 = 2 x even + 2
which is obviously even
Now to an even number you add an odd, which is
even + 1
Now you have
even + even + 1 = even + 1
which is always odd
