Answer by Maths68(1474) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let
Smaller odd Integer = x+1
Larger odd Integer = x+3
==========================================
Given
(x+3)+8(x+1)=119
x+3+8x+8=119
9x+11=119
9x+11=119
9x=119-11
9x=108
x=108/9
x=12
===========================================
Smaller odd Integer = x+1=12+1=13
Larger odd Integer = x+3=12+3=15
========================================
Check
15+8(13)=119
15+104=119
119=119
