simple.. denote the first integer to be x, then the next integer is (x+1)
Now just rewrite the problem using numbers...
to get rid of the fractions multiply the whole equation by 12 and it should look like: then solve for x. so x=39
So the numbers are 39 and 40...
To check if you add 39/3+40/4=23
