I'll call the numbers J and K
given:
(1) J+=+4K
J is the larger number, K is the smaller
(2) K+-+2=+J+-+14
By substitution:
(2) K+-+2=+4K+-+14
3K+=+12
K+=+4
and, from (1),
J+=+4%2A4
J+=+16
The numbers are 16 and 4
