ok,so i know how to do the problem i just do not know how to write it out.
at first i thought it was (3x)+7=23>x but then i thought about it and was thinking it was 3(x+7)=23>x

I DONT KNOW! Please help me quickly...Please?

3x+7=x+23
2x=16
x=8
